Data Deletion
You can delete your Hypermass data at any time. Pick whichever path below fits your situation. In every case, we remove the relevant data from our production database within 30 days, and from any encrypted backups within an additional 30 days as those backups age out.
Option 1. Delete a single workspace
Sign in, go to Settings → Workspace → Delete workspace, and confirm by typing the workspace name. We immediately disconnect the Instagram account from Meta (revoking our access token), unsubscribe from its webhook events, and remove every row tied to that workspace — Instagram-account record, daily metrics, media, comments, audience snapshots, online-follower history, mentions, and brand profile.
Option 2. Revoke access to an Instagram account (at Instagram)
Without signing in to Hypermass, you can revoke our access directly from Instagram: instagram.com/accounts/manage_access. Our access token becomes invalid immediately. We then treat your data as deletion-pending and remove it within 30 days on our next sync cycle, or sooner if you also email us the request below.
Option 3. Delete your entire Hypermass account
Email privacy@hypermass.ai from the email address associated with your Hypermass account with the subject "Account deletion request." We will confirm identity, delete every workspace you own, your Supabase auth user, and your Hypermass profile within 30 days, and reply with confirmation. Backups age out within another 30 days.
What we keep, and why
After your data is deleted, we may retain minimal records to comply with law, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements: invoices (if any), the fact that an account existed and was deleted (audit log entry with no personal data), and encrypted backups until they age out. None of that residual data is used to re-identify you.
